Commitment

We see accessibility as part of service quality. The site is built to be usable by people with disabilities, in the spirit of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

Conformance

The site targets Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, which is based on the WCAG guidelines. It was checked with automated tools and keyboard navigation tests.

What we adjusted

Full keyboard navigation, including the compass on the home page; a skip-to-content link; semantic headings and structure; alt text for images; sufficient colour contrast; labels and descriptions for screen readers; motion is turned off for users who prefer reduced motion, and a button stops the compass animation; correct display on mobile and when zoomed.

Known limitations

Some technical illustrations may be hard to read; their content is also described in the page text. In the home-page compass preview, moving the mouse diagonally from a far arm can switch the preview to a neighbouring arm; every arm can also be reached with the keyboard. If you run into a problem, please let us know.
